In anticipation of the future development potential of Eastern Commerce Company (Eckare), President Gary Wang of Eastern Group has invested NT$1 billion and one year to build the “東森麗格薈” in Taichung’s 7th Redevelopment Zone as the top-notch clubhouse for Eckare VIPs, in addition to creating a flagship Eastern Natural Beauty Biotech Aesthetics Center. A grand opening press conference was held today (6th). Gary Wang personally headed south to host the ribbon-cutting ceremony. VIPs attending this star-studded event included Taichung City Mayor Lu Shiow-Yen, Taichung Veterans General Hospital Superintendent Chen Shih-Ann, variety show superstar Jacky Wu, and famous model Leilei Hung. According to Gary Wang, Eckare has more than 20,000 distributors in Taichung alone, and he found it very impressive. It cost NT$900 million to purchase luxury houses and another NT$100 million to decorate the Eckare flagship “東森麗格薈,” which is located in Taichung’s 7th Redevelopment Zone. A total of three stories and approximately 1,983 square meters of floor space have been planned, and each floor has a footprint of around 661 square meters. Taichung City Mayor Lu Shiow-Yen was also on hand, and Eckare CEO Wang Shih-Chun was there to guide her through the fashionable and luxurious “東森麗格薈.” Lu Shiow-Yen described it as “a sight to behold” after her visit. Kuo Yao-Huang from Koan Design, a design master devoted to designing five-star mansions, was awarded a huge contract to design the clubhouse’s first and second floors. Semba, a famous Japanese design house specialized in commercial space, was entrusted with planning the third floor. The first floor is Eckare’s flagship store, featuring a fashionable, bright silver-white decor overall. Three large crystal chandeliers at the entrance give off a luxurious and grandiose vibe. Three spacious areas for merchandise experiencing and product display have been set up, in addition to a coffee lounge where light meals and beverages are served. Apart from the Eckare members’ cafe, there is also a small conference room on the second floor where panel activities can be held at all times to improve direct selling teams’ cohesiveness.
